Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
官方发布的时间:2007年3月17日,所以在网络上找到的资料很少,这篇英文的安装手册不错,
关于该手册,补充以下内容:
错误1:
在./runInstaller运行时出现,
错误描述:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/OraInstall2007-09-25_10-54-49PM/jre/1.4.2/lib/i386/libawt.so: libXp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

[root@localhost Server ]#rmp -ivh libXp-1.0.0-8.i386.rpm
安装即可。
错误2:
在oracle Universal Installer:Install过程中出现,

In this article I'll describe the installation of Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.1) on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL5). The article is based on a server installation similar to this, with a minimum of 2G swap, secure Linux disabled and the following package groups installed:
You should now have a single directory containing installation files. Depending on the age of the download this may either be named "db/Disk1" or "database".unzip 10201_database_linux32.zip
<IP-address> <fully-qualified-machine-name> <machine-name>
Run the following command to change the current kernel parameters:kernel.shmall = 2097152
kernel.shmmax = 2147483648
kernel.shmmni = 4096
# semaphores: semmsl, semmns, semopm, semmni
kernel.sem = 250 32000 100 128
fs.file-max = 65536
net.ipv4.ip_local_port_range = 1024 65000

Add the following lines to the /etc/security/limits.conf file:/sbin/sysctl -p
Add the following line to the /etc/pam.d/login file, if it does not already exist:* soft nproc 2047
* hard nproc 16384
* soft nofile 1024
* hard nofile 65536
Disable secure linux by editing the /etc/selinux/config file, making sure the SELINUX flag is set as follows:session required /lib/security/pam_limits.so
Alternatively, this alteration can be done using the GUI tool (System > Administration > Security Level and Firewall). Click on the SELinux tab and disable the feature.SELINUX=disabled
